BEACH, SAILING, SURFING, KITING
Holidays in the wonderfully clear and warm Ionian Sea with its numerous unique bays and beaches can also involve swimming, surfing and sailing. Some of the top-ranking Greek beaches – such as the “Porto Katsiki” beach, which is ranked 6th among the Mediterranean beaches – can be easily reached from our residence. In Nidri motor boats and sailing yachts are available to be rented – so you can enjoy the peace offered by lonely bays, which are not otherwise accessible. The windy north and northwest coasts of Lefkada are particularly preferable to kitesurfers – you can either try it or just admire a sky full of kites from a beach bar. Pure holidays, easy to choose, just THE VIEW!
MOUNTAIN, BIKES, ISLANDS
THE VIEW is located on the mountain slope. It constitutes an ideal starting point for short or long hikes on the mountain or bike tours. Day trips by ferry can take you to the nearby islands of Meganisi, Ithaki and Kefalonia.
Our sports tip: Lefkada is considered an insider tip among cyclists due to its numerous cycling and mountain biking trails of all types of difficulty. Bike and e-bike rental and service stations guarantee a stress-free sports pleasure. Tips and bicycle maps are available. The time period from April to mid-June and September to November is particularly recommended for bikers.
BARBECUE, COOKING OR GREEK RESTAURANT?
Not in the mood for cooking, barbecue etc.? Then it will take only five minutes to reach Nidri, a lively, typical Greek harbor town, with its numerous restaurants and small beach bars. Of course, we will give you our culinary insider tips: for example, you can enjoy a fresh wild fish at the beach or unique Greek specialties in a quiet village on the mountain. Enjoy Greece!
